Irregular movements of the tongue, face, and jaw can lead to a laundry list of issues in everything from chewing and talking to breathing and sleeping. Myofunctional therapy requires clinical guidance from a specialized speech pathologist (that’s us!) to retrain these muscles, restore oral function, and provide relief from these symptoms.
